These Terms govern the Krayton website, desktop application and account service (together, the “Service”). Krayton is operated by Oussama Hadji, an individual based in Algeria (“we”, “us”). Creating an account or using the Service means you agree to these Terms. If you purchase a subscription, the seller shown at checkout is a Paddle company acting as merchant of record; Paddle’s Buyer Terms also govern that purchase.
The subscription gives one person access to Krayton’s paid desktop features on up to three registered devices while their subscription is eligible. Krayton brings supported coding agents, terminal sessions and project tools into one desktop workspace. It does not include subscriptions, usage credits or API access from third-party AI model providers. You supply any required third-party accounts, tools and internet connection. Available features and system requirements are described on our website.
Create an account with a verified email address or sign in with Google. The email used at checkout must match the Krayton account you want to activate. Access begins after Paddle confirms the subscription and our account service records that confirmation; seeing a checkout success screen alone does not activate a license. Sign in to the desktop app with that same account. You are responsible for protecting your sign-in credentials and for activity under your account. Contact support if you believe your account was used without permission.
Accounts and licenses are personal. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live. You can see and remove registered devices from your account page. Removing a device signs it out; you can then activate another device within your plan limit.
New subscriptions have a US$5 base price for the first month and a US$10 monthly base price from the second month onward, billed in advance and renewed automatically until canceled. The first-month price applies once at the start of the subscription; it is not a free trial. Existing subscriptions keep the billing terms agreed at their checkout. Cancel before your next renewal to avoid the next charge. Paddle calculates tax according to your location and displays the final amount, currency, tax and billing terms before you confirm payment. Paddle also sends the receipt and manages applicable sales tax or VAT. If a payment fails, access may be affected while Paddle retries or resolves it.
Cancel at any time using your account page, the link in your Paddle receipt, or Paddle’s buyer support. You can also email us for help. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period and prevents the next renewal; it does not automatically refund a payment already made. We charge no cancellation fee. Our Refund Policy explains the first-payment guarantee and how to request a refund. Mandatory consumer rights and Paddle’s applicable buyer terms continue to apply.
While you have eligible access, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the desktop application. You may not resell or share your account or license, bypass payment or device controls, attack the Service, or use it unlawfully. You may not reverse engineer the application except where applicable law allows it. Third-party open-source components remain under their own licenses.
Your project files, chats, settings and agent credentials are stored locally by the desktop app. We do not claim ownership of your work. When you choose an external coding agent, model provider or CLI, that provider may receive prompts, code or other content needed to perform your request. Its terms, privacy practices and charges apply separately. Review commands and generated output before running or relying on them, and keep your own backups of important projects.
We may update the app, fix security issues, change features or discontinue the Service. We will post material changes to these Terms with a new date and, where appropriate, notify account holders. Changes do not take away rights you already have for a purchase. We may suspend access for fraud, serious misuse, security threats or legal requirements; we will handle any resulting refund in accordance with applicable law and our Refund Policy.
We aim to provide a working Service, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or that AI-generated output is accurate, secure or suitable for your purpose. To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses caused by use of the Service. Nothing here limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
Our Service relationship is governed by the laws of Algeria, subject to any mandatory protections in your country. Purchase disputes with Paddle may also be governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms. For support, complaints or questions about these Terms, email kraytonsoftware@gmail.com. We are based in Algeria and operate Krayton personally.
